Can I pass my own ICP filters?

Yes. Send filters on their own or together with a sentence. The response shows how the two were combined, so you can check what was actually searched.

How do I avoid searching twice for the same company?

Keep the company domains you get back, and look them up later with POST /v1/entities/companies and by: "domain" instead of running the search again.

Can I test this without spending credits?

Yes. Calls made with a test key are free and read the same records, and every response says whether a test or live key served it.
