See how a company is built.
An org chart counts one company's people by department and seniority. Use it for the shape of a company: where its headcount sits, which functions are large, and how senior each one is. It counts people by function and level; it does not show who reports to whom.
Three calls.
POST /v1/org-chart
The grid
Every person we hold for the company, counted by department (23 functions) and seniority (7 levels), with totals on both axes and the company's headcount.
POST /v1/org-chart/departments
Sub-functions
Each department one level finer, such as Engineering into Backend, Frontend and SRE, with each sub-function's own seniority counts.
POST /v1/org-chart/locations
Locations
Where the company's people are, as a country to state to city tree with a count at each level. These are also the exact place names the grid's filters accept.
What comes back.
Name the company by its domain or its LinkedIn company page. Filters for country, state and city narrow the people before they are counted, so a Netherlands filter returns the Dutch org chart.
The headcount is everyone we hold for the company. People whose function could not be classified are part of it, and can be shown as their own row and column.
